This year proved to be a lucky year for Tom Holland both personally and professionally.
The British actor not only starred in filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s film, The Odyssey, but his fourth Spider-Man movie has smashed the box office by crossing one billion dollars only on the sixth day of its release.
And eventually it is going to add to more to Tom’s base salary for the role.
According to a report by Metro.co.uk, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has grossed over $2.03billion worldwide and has made its place in the list of the highest-grossing films of all time.
On the success of the movie, Tom is going to cash in, whose base salary for the film is said to be $20million to $25million. This means the hefty amount that the movie will continue to earn will push Tom’s payday to $100million, crossing Tom’s Homecoming salary, which was $1.5 million.
His Spider-Man predecessors, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, one of them got around $17.5 million as per the Daily Mail.
It is worth mentioning that Tom’s own movie is standing against his other movie, The Odyssey, released weeks before Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Notably, in his new movies, Tom starred with his now-wife Zendaya.
Marrying the love of his life the same year his films hit billions seems to be an achievement unlocked for Tom.
