Mohammad Ruhul Kabir Khan has been appointed deputy commissioner (DC) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Gulshan Division.
DMP Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmed issued an office order today (21 September) appointing Ruhul Kabir Khan to the post.
According to the order, he has been transferred from his previous post as a DMP DC and posted as the DC of the Gulshan Division.
Earlier, Tanvir Ahmed, the previous Gulshan Division DC, was withdrawn from the division and attached to DMP headquarters on 16 September following a procession by the activities-banned Awami League and its affiliated organisations in Gulshan.
