The government has promoted three additional secretaries to the rank of secretary.
In this regard, three separate notifications were issued yesterday (25 May).
Additional Secretary of the Home Affairs Ministry Md Ataur Rahman Khan has been promoted to the rank of secretary and posted to the Commerce Ministry as secretary.
Divisional Commissioner (Additional Secretary) of the Mymensingh Division Farah Shammi was promoted as the Secretary of Coordination and Reforms of the Cabinet Division.
Additional Secretary of the Agriculture Ministry Nasir-ud-Doula has been promoted to the rank of secretary and posted to the Trade and Tariff Commission as chairman (secretary).
Besides, the government has attached Secretary of the Information and Communication Division Kazi Anwar Hossain to the Ministry of Public Administration.
The orders, issued in the public interest, will come into effect immediately, the notifications said.
