Prince Harry’s return to the UK is said to have set off nothing short of angry fireworks in Prince William’s mind, rumour has it. It’s gotten to a point where sources on both ends, and even some commentators believe the future does not look good for Prince Harry who has landed in the UK, barely a few months before Christmas.
One psychiatrist with years under his belt has even warned that proximity alone could end up doing more harm than purported good, where these brothers are concerned.
He is a British medical doctor named Max Pemberton and according to the Daily Express believes, “once there are birthdays and Christmases in the same country, once there are cousins who want to see one another, remaining estranged becomes more complicated.”
He also admitted, “it is uncomfortable for everyone involved, but – handled right – it is also, in my experience, the thing most likely to shift a long-standing falling-out.”
At one point he also hypothesised all that could help but clarified, “therapy and letters help, but nothing brings matters to a head like having to be in the same room now and then. It either gets worse or it heals, but rarely does it stay the same.”
A bit near the end he also offered his two cents and revealed whether he feels the heir’s anger and demands for an apology are justified given their father’s cancer battle.
In his view, William is “perfectly justified: years of service, never once disobedient, and never so much as a young goat to celebrate with his friends.” But “then the younger son waltzes back in and is received with open arms.”
What is also pertinent to mention about the tensions between the Sussexes and the Windsor’s is that they have been brewing ever since the feud between Kate and Meghan Markle happened over bridesmaids dresses, and Princess Charlotte.
Since then its expanded to include Prince William and Prince Harry and shot off when the Spare memoir released. Since then some rumors claims efforts are underway to rehabilitate relations but those efforts have been rejected, right off the bat by the Prince of Wales, despite the King wanting nothing more than to thaw relationships, in order to meet freely with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet who live on the other side of the pond and have only visited the UK on a handful of occasions.
