Prince Harry has pretty much been hammered down like a nail that sticks out and News24 host Danica De Giorgio has a lot to say about it.
Everything’s come full circle because of the King’s letter calling Prince Harry and his wife ‘private citizens’ and a conversation with ‘Triggered with Samara Gill’ host Samara Gill exposed what might actually be their trigger point.
The host was the one to deliver this comment and she said, “they thought that they could just waltz back to the UK and be this half in, half out, hokey-pokey royals and it’s backfired spectacularly and they haven’t even been back in Britain a week yet.”
“It’s a real slap in the face and it’s exactly what they deserve.”
What’s more, “now, you know, you mentioned that this was really in response to what the king had said and now the king has sent that letter reminding them that they are indeed private citizens and the sheer hypocrisy — The sheer hypocrisy, Samara”, she said in visible exasperation too.
After a breath the host also went hard on the prince saying, “the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, they’re upset. They’re throwing the toys out of the cot at one, being given an hour’s notice of the king’s letter clarifying their status as private citizens, but two, they’re upset at being called private citizens.”
Near the end she hinted at this ‘trigger’ and said, “they apparently want to be called public figures– The nerve of these two to be making these sorts of ludicrous demands after everything that they’ve put the family through.”
The reaction her guest had to it was a clear statement that its “frankly insane” and she admitted, “I mean the privacy paradox of it all is quite frankly insane. I mean he’s gaslighting the British public”.
