A Dhaka court has sentenced former Bangladesh Bank deputy governor Shitangshu Kumar (SK) Sur Chowdhury to three years in prison in a case filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) for failing to submit his asset statement.
Judge Ayesha Nasrin of Dhaka’s Special Judge Court-2 delivered the verdict this morning (28 July), ACC lawyer SM Abul Kalam Azad confirmed.
