Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Whitney Rose has called it quits with husband Justin Rose after 16 years of marriage.
On Wednesday, an insider confirmed to People magazine that Whitney and Justin are now “living separate lives.”
“Financial strain took a major toll on them,” the source told the outlet “It was the contributing factor.”
“They have been living separate lives for a while now and rarely see each other,” the confidant continued. “There wasn’t one dramatic moment — it was a gradual breakdown after years of trying to make things work.”
The insider further told the publication that the former couple is focused on moving forward amicably and prioritizing their family.
“They’re trying to handle this with as much respect as possible,” a tipster said. “Their children remain their biggest priority, and they’re committed to keeping things as peaceful as they can.”
Whitney and Justin, who tied the knot in 2009, share two kids – daughter Bobbie, 16, and son Brooks, 13.
It is woth mentioning here that the pair have been one of the longest-standing couples on the reality show, RHOSLC.
Their financial struggles became a headline after Whitney talked about the risks of investing in and expanding her business in recent seasons.
During the show, Justin also faced ups and downs in his career, which placed further strain on the family’s financial situation.
