The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has appointed new officers-in-charge (OCs) for three police stations – Mirpur Model, Adabor and Darussalam – through a reshuffle announced today (3 May).
The transfers were made through an office order signed by acting DMP Commissioner Md Sarwar.
According to the order, Hazaribagh Police Station OC Md Hafizur Rahman has been transferred to Mirpur Model Police Station as the new OC.
Adabor Police Station OC Md Ziaur Rahman has been transferred to the Detective Branch (DB) of DMP. In his place, Zahidul Islam, DMP police inspector (unarmed), has been appointed as the new OC of the station.
Meanwhile, Darussalam Police Station OC SM Zakaria has also been transferred to the DB. Dulal Hossain, another inspector (unarmed), has been posted as the new OC of the police station.
