Six children died from measles and measles symptoms in the 24 hours to 8am today (17 May), according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of the new deaths, one was confirmed to be a measles case, while the remaining five were classified as suspected.
During the same period, 1,274 patients with measles symptoms were admitted to hospitals nationwide.
Of these, 243 cases were laboratory-confirmed as measles.
So far this year, at least 75 children have died from confirmed measles infections in Bangladesh.
In addition, 384 children have died with symptoms consistent with measles.
DGHS data show that between 15 March and 17 May, a total of 7,767 measles cases were confirmed through laboratory testing.
According to the latest health bulletin, 57,846 suspected measles cases have been reported nationwide.
Of them, 37,744 patients have already been discharged after treatment.
