Home minister to unveil plaque for new Ansar Headquarters tomorrow

Home minister Salahuddin Ahmed is scheduled to unveil the foundation plaque for the new headquarters of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Force tomorrow (1 October), marking the formal launch of the headquarters project.

The unveiling ceremony will take place at 10:00am in Tejgaon, Dhaka, in front of the Directorate of Land Records and Surveys, according to Home Ministry.

Ansar personnel will be present at the site to guide guests and attendees to the designated venue.

The new headquarters is expected to strengthen the force’s administrative infrastructure and support its expanding activities across the country.

The Ansar and Village Defence Force plays a key role in supporting public security, maintaining order during major national and public events, and assisting communities at the grassroots level.
