Police yesterday (19 May) arrested listed drug dealer and alleged criminal “Pichchi Raja” from the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport area after he returned to Dhaka from Nepal.
Confirming the incident, Jewel Rana, additional deputy commissioner (ADC) of the Mohammadpur Zone under the DMP’s Tejgaon Division, said, “The top drug dealer from Geneva Camp in Mohammadpur, had travelled to Nepal with his wife, child and brother-in-law before being detained.”
He added that multiple cases, including drug-related charges, have been filed against him with Mohammadpur Police Station.
According to police sources, Pichchi Raja had previously been arrested several times.
