The government has kept fuel oil prices unchanged for May, maintaining the rates set in April.
According to a notification issued by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division today (30 April), the existing prices of diesel, kerosene, octane and petrol will remain effective from tomorrow (1 May).
Under the current pricing, diesel will continue to be sold at Tk115 per litre, octane at Tk140, petrol at Tk135, and kerosene at Tk130 per litre.
The division said the prices, fixed on 18 April following a proposal from the Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC), will remain unchanged for the upcoming month.
