A fire broke out at a seven-storey commercial building near Mohakhali rail gate in Dhaka this morning (10 September).
Fire Service received the report at 11:12am and sent four units from Tejgaon and Kurmitola fire stations to the scene.
However, none of the units had reached the building by 11:38am due to traffic, said Khaleda Yasmin, duty officer at the Fire Service control room.
The cause of the fire could not be immediately confirmed.
The fire broke out shortly after another fire was reported at Apex Building in Dhanmondi.
