Dhaka Metropolitan Police Joint Commissioner Md Nasirul Islam has been transferred to the force’s Diplomatic Security Division from the Detective Branch.
The transfer order, signed by DMP Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and issued yesterday (24 May), said Nasirul has been posted to the Diplomatic Security Division in the public interest until further notice.
The order takes immediate effect, it added.
