CAL Bangladesh has appointed Tahmidur Rahman as its head of business as the company moves to strengthen its leadership team and expand its presence in the country.
According to a press release, Rahman will oversee business development, client engagement and market expansion initiatives in his new role.
He brings more than a decade of experience in stockbroking, equity and economic research, portfolio management, institutional sales and digital transformation of customer service delivery.
Rahman will work with retail and institutional investors, corporations, high-net-worth individuals and other market participants to strengthen client relationships and promote CAL’s capital market and financial solutions.
Commenting on the appointment, Deshan Pushparajah, CFA, country head of CAL Bangladesh, said, “We are delighted to welcome Tahmidur Rahman as our Head of Business in Bangladesh. His extensive experience in institutional sales, market development and client relationship management will be instrumental in strengthening CAL’s presence and deepening our relationships with clients.”
