Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, recently reunited with Elton John during a holiday in the South of France.
The couple joined the music legend and his husband, David Furnish, aboard a yacht near Nice on July 29, per People. Elton is the godfather of Brooklyn and his brother Romeo Beckham.
The trip comes as Brooklyn’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham, are on a separate family vacation in Spain with their other children, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
Brooklyn has been publicly estranged from his family in recent months. He has missed several family events, including his sister Harper’s birthday celebration and David Beckham’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony and his birthday besides other holiday celebrations.
Earlier this year, Brooklyn claimed on social media that his parents had tried to damage his relationship with Nicola and said he was not interested in reconciling with his family.
Victoria later told WSJ. Magazine that she and David have always tried to protect and support their children. David also declined to discuss the family situation in an interview with Variety, calling it a private matter.
