Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman held a meeting with prominent personalities who regularly participate in television talk shows in Dhaka on yesterday afternoon (11 September).
The meeting was held at the BNP chairman’s office in Gulshan as part of the party’s initiative to exchange views with prominent talk show participants, according to a post by the BNP Media Cell.
BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed that the meeting was attended by personalities who regularly take part in television talk shows.
During the meeting, the participants shared their experiences of discussing various issues on talk shows and in the media, as well as their role in shaping public opinion.
They also exchanged views and recommendations on the country’s current situation.
Those present included BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed; BNP Vice Chairman and Chief Whip Nurul Islam Moni; BNP chairman’s adviser Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal; State Minister for Land and Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin; reserved women’s seat lawmaker Mahmuda Habiba; BNP Media Cell Convener Professor Moudud Alamgir Pavel; and Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan, among others.
