Bangladesh’s GDP rose to $501 billion in FY26 from $456 billion in FY25, while per capita income grew from $2,769 to $3,020. The government plans to double the economy to $1 trillion by 2034. However, industry growth slowed, falling from 3.71% to 2.86% due to weaker manufacturing. Output from large, medium, small, and cottage industries all declined.
