Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party, Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today (4 March).
The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s Office under the Cabinet Division at the Bangladesh Secretariat. During the meeting, they exchanged greetings and discussed issues of mutual interest.
The prime minister highly praised the patriotism and professionalism of Ansar and VDP members, acknowledging their tireless efforts in serving the nation. He directed the force to continue its public service initiatives in the interest of maintaining peace, security, and public welfare.
The director general briefed the prime minister on the various development activities undertaken by the force. The prime minister assured continued support to sustain the momentum of these initiatives and called upon the members to remain fully prepared to safeguard the country’s sovereignty.
