Remittances hit $2.87b in Oct, up 12.18% YoY

Bangladesh received $2.87 billion in remittances in October, marking a 12.18% increase compared to the same month last year, Bangladesh Bank Executive Director and spokesperson Arief Hossain Khan told reporters today (1 November).

Expatriate Bangladeshis sent $2.56 billion in October 2025.

Remittance inflows also increased from $2.77 billion recorded in September this year.
