Ziaul led killing and dumping of four, including BDR killings witness, in Baleshwar River, witness tells ICT

Four people, including Nazrul Islam, a witness to the BDR killings, were allegedly blindfolded, shot and dumped into the Baleshwar River after their abdomens were cut open and cement bags were tied to their bodies, former army officer Major Sabbir testified before the International Crimes Tribunal.

He also alleged that Major General (retd) Ziaul Ahsan led the killings.

Major Sabbir made the allegations while testifying today (17 September) in the enforced disappearance case against Ziaul Ahsan before the International Crimes Tribunal-1.
