Matt Damon tugged at some heartstrings of his fans after he was spotted in an incognito mode, enjoying a stranger’s sweet moment at Disneyland.
The Good Will Hunting star, who recently visited the theme park with his wife and daughters, was seen in a fan’s video on social media, with a laid-back approach, while the guest of the park was recording her daughter’s first time meeting the Disney character Goofy.
Damon, who was sporting a pair of tan pants and a blue button-up shirt along with a baseball cap on his head, witnessed the little fan’s adorable moment from a little distance and beamed a smile.
The little girl greeted and hugged Goofy, who was wearing a chef costume.
The park guest, named Loryn Powell, expressed her excitement over spotting Damon by writing over the video, “POV you’re watching your husband and daughter meet Goofy for the first time but don’t realize Matt Damon is also watching your husband and daughter meet Goofy for the first time.”
She also wrote in the caption jokingly, “When your daughter is more starstruck by Goofy than Matt Damon.”
The Powell spoke to Californian Post about the accidental meet up, “As you can tell we love dressing up for a good theme so taking our 2.5 year old daughter to Disneyland for her first time was magical,” Powell told the outlet.
“Even if Matt Damon hadn’t been there,” she added.
For those unversed, Damon is also the father to four daughters: Alexia, 27, Gia, 18, Isabella, 20, and Stella, 15, whom he shares with wife Luciana Barroso.
The actor visited Disneyland on Thursday to celebrate daughter Gia’s 18th birthday.
