Three members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) were injured in an attack while attempting to arrest a warrant-listed suspect in Narayanganj.
The incident took place in the Masdair Lichubagan area near Boalia Canal this afternoon (5 May). RAB-11 Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Sajjad Hossain confirmed the matter.
Among the injured, one of the RAB members, identified as Mahi, is receiving treatment at Narayanganj General Hospital and the other two, SI Najibul and SI Ibrahim, have been shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for advance treatment.
Lieutenant Colonel Sajjad said additional personnel have been deployed at the scene.
