Two soldiers of the Bangladesh Army were killed and an officer was seriously injured in an accident during a field firing exercise at the Hathazari Field Firing Range in Chattogram today (9 September).
The accident occurred while a tank was firing during the exercise, according to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate.
The injured officer is being transferred by helicopter to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka for advanced treatment.
The ISPR said necessary measures are underway to investigate the cause of the accident.
