United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk today met Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
The meeting was held at Hotel Grand Hyatt in New York on Friday afternoon local time, said Prime Minister’s Assistant Press Secretary K M Nazmul Haque.
The meeting covered issues of mutual interest, with both sides exchanging views on matters related to human rights and other areas of common concern, he added.
