Pubali Bank’s last five data showed that the lender has been posting consistent profit growth in the last five year until 2025. Its data showed that in 2021, its net profit was Tk435 crore, and it surged to Tk1090 crore in 2025, a significant jump in its profit. The profit growth for the current 2026 also continued until half of the year.
Its quarterly financial statements showed, its net profit grew to Tk684.86 crore, up from Tk577.83 crore at the same time of the previous year. The company attributed that this significant improvement demonstrates the bank’s focus on high-yield lending, diversification of fees, commission and investment income, cost optimisation and digital transformation.
In July, the bank decided to purchase a land measuring 95.10 decimal along with a 26 storied under-construction building, including three basement floors, namely “Swiss Tower”, situated at Tejgaon link road for establishing the corporate head office of the Bank.
The total cost for acquiring the land and building worth Tk800 crore including income taxes and excluding VAT, subject to approval of Bangladesh Bank and all other relevant regulatory authorities, said the bank through a disclosure.
