Taylor Swift has penned a sweet note for Phoebe Bridgers.
As Bridgers dropped her new album Lost Weekend on her birthday, the Grammy-winner took to her Instagram Stories and gave a special shout out.
On Monday, August 14, Swift wrote, “It’s her birthday but she gave us a gift – Haven’t been able to stop listening.”
She went on to write, “This album is an absolute triumph in every way. To write about grief with such vulnerability and detail, and to trust the listener with this much honesty.”
“A Happy Bday @phoebebridgers I love you!!” Swift concluded.
It is pertinent to mention that this marks Bridgers’ third solo studio album, marking her first solo record in six years since 2020’s Punisher. The album, Lost Weekend centers around the death of her father in December 2022. It features raw like Still Standing and even a personal voicemail in Never Going Back!
Furthermore, she has also reportedly reflected on her past split from Paul Mescal and overwhelming nature of fame in the album.
