Days after charges against Taylor Frankie Paul were dropped by prosecutors, the filming of the remaining Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season five is all set to begin.
However, the TV personality and her ex boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, who were also the cast members, will not be returning to the Hulu show, a source confirmed to People.
The filming of the show was paused in late March as a result of an alleged domestic violence investigation involving Taylor and Dakota.
For those unversed, Taylor was arrested back in 2023 following an alleged domestic violence incident. In February, two Utah police departments opened separate investigations into the alleged case.
The domestic assault investigation came under scrutiny after Taylor’s video of throwing metal chairs at Dakota in the presence of a child from 2023 was leaked in late March. The video was first published by TMZ.
After the video went viral, ABC also pulled The Bachelorette season 22, in which Taylor Frankie Paul was scheduled to be the Bachelorette.
In the end the case disclosed earlier in April after the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office announced that they have dropped charges against Taylor.
It is pertinent to mention that Taylor and Dakota dated on and off from 2022 to 2025 and also share two-year-old son Ever.
