Savannah Chrisley’s sister Lindsie Chrisley is sending her well wishes to her younger sister on her pregnancy and relationship news.
The 37-year-old reality star shared her message during an episode of her The Southern Tea podcast and posted an excerpt from the conversation on her Instagram account.
“I just want to briefly say I want to congratulate my sister on her pregnancy [and] congratulate her on her engagement or marriage, whichever that may be,” Lindsie said.
However, she also took a moment to express disappointment over the negative reactions Savannah’s pregnancy announcement received online.
Lindsie said, “The things that I have seen posted all week long [are] truly heartbreaking to me.
“I don’t know why people relish in other people’s downfall, and it’s not a downfall. Right? Like, people, the media is going to run whatever the media’s going to run, and there’s nothing you can really do about it.”
She added, “But to take such a bright and happy moment and something that somebody has waited for for such a long period of time, and to turn that into a traumatic experience is awful.”
Lindsie also captioned her Instagram post, “Congratulations, Savannah!!”
It is pertinent to mention that Savannah first announced her pregnancy during the October 27 episode of her Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley podcast.
Sharing the news on Instagram, she wrote: “I’ve prayed for this life. I’ve cried for this life. And there were moments I truly wondered if this life would ever be mine.”
For those unversed, Lindsie previously claimed that her and Savannah’s sisterly bond had been strained as a result of their parents Todd and Julie Chrisley’s legal troubles.
