Reba McEntire finally revealed why she hasn’t married her fiancé, Rex Linn, yet.
For those unversed, the pair announced their engagement on Christmas Eve in 2024, but have yet to set a wedding date.
In a new interview with E! News, Reba has opened up about upcoming nuptials with Rex.
“We’re just waiting until we have an open spot to have the wedding,” the 71-year-old singer and actress told the outlet.
“Get it planned. Print those invitations,” she added.
Reba further told the publication that their true happiness boils down to them liking each other.
“We love each other,” she said. “but we like each other. We have fun.”
“We love the same things,” continued the Happy’s Place actress. “We love the country way of life, the western way of life. We love movies. We love television.”
Reba added, “The only thing we’re opposite of, he loves thriller horror movies. I’m more like, ‘Happy. Everything’s so sweet.’”
In February, the Young Sheldon alum revealed that their busy schedules have pushed back a ceremony.
“We’re still waiting on a third season pickup from Happy’s Place,” Reba said. “And Rex got picked up on Stick with Owen Wilson, so that pushed the wedding back.”
