Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are likely to occur at a few places across the country in the next 24 hours from 9am today, said the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
According to a Met office bulletin issued this morning, rain or thundershowers are likely in a few places in the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna and Sylhet divisions, and in one or two places in the Barishal and Chattogram divisions.
Moderately heavy falls are also likely at places across the country, it said.
Day and night temperatures may fall slightly over the country.
The highest temperature of 35.2 degrees Celsius was recorded at Sitakunda and Khulna on Wednesday, while the lowest temperature of 20.4 degrees Celsius was recorded at Sylhet today.
The sun will set at 5:39pm today and rise at 5:53am tomorrow in Dhaka.
