Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today (31 May) forecasts rain in different parts of the country over the next 24 hours beginning at 9am.
According to a Met Office bulletin issued this morning, light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds and lightning flashes are likely at a few places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Barishal divisions, with moderately heavy to heavy falls at some places in Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.

The highest temperature on Saturday (30 May) was recorded at 36.0°C in Koyra of Khulna division, while today’s lowest temperature was recorded at 23.7°C in Sylhet.
