Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly plan to spend Christmas in Montecito, California, this year rather than joining the royal family at Sandringham.
According to a royal affairs expert, the stay could be extended for a longer period in light of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s school holidays.
“Meghan and Harry are therefore looking carefully at the school calendar and identifying periods when Meghan can spend concentrated stretches working in California before returning to Britain,” an inside told RadarOnline.com.
The confidant further said, “School vacations will obviously provide more flexibility, and there will also be occasions when the whole family can spend extended periods together in Montecito.”
“It is going to require considerable organization, but Meghan doesn’t see moving to Britain as meaning she has to sacrifice everything she has created in America,” the source continued.
A tipster added, “The aim is to protect the children’s routine while allowing her career and businesses to continue developing on both sides of the Atlantic.”
For those unaware, Harry and Meghan have moved back to the UK from California with their kids. The royal couple moved to the USA in 2020 after stepping away from their royal duties.
