The Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) will hold a special recruitment examination on 18 April to fill key leadership posts in non-government educational institutions.
The examination will be conducted for the posts of principal, vice-principal, head teacher, assistant head teacher, superintendent and assistant superintendent.
Earlier in the day, the High Court had ordered a two-month suspension of the recruitment test for head teachers and assistant head teachers. The order was issued by a bench comprising Justice Habibul Ghani and Justice Debashish Roy Chowdhury.
However, within hours, Attorney General Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kazal said there is no bar to holding the examination on 18 April, after the chamber judge of the Appellate Division, Justice Md Rezaul Haque, passed an order allowing it to proceed.
According to an urgent notice, signed by NTRCA Secretary AMM Rizwanul Haque, the MCQ-based test will be held at nine designated venues in Dhaka across four groups.
As per the schedule, the ‘A’ group exam will be held from 9:00am to 10:00am, followed by the ‘B’ group from 11:30am to 12:30pm. The ‘C’ group is scheduled from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, while the ‘D’ group will take place from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.
To ensure smooth management of the examination process, NTRCA has set up a dedicated control room at its office.
Candidates have been advised to contact designated officials in case of emergencies or for further information. Details are also available on the authority’s official website.
