Norah O’Donnell’s CBS comeback sparked tension rumours.
Gayle King is said to be ‘furious’ as her former co-host, Norah O’Donnell, plans to return to CBS Mornings. Moreover, Gayle is reportedly making a firm demand to the CBS network, as per Radar Online.
For those unaware, Norah first joined the popular CBS morning program in 2012 and worked with Gayle on the show for almost 7 years, but later left the show in 2019, and they have been the subject of reported feud for many years.
Now, following the news of Norah’s return, an insider claimed that “Gayle is not happy.”
“The last thing she wants or needs is to see Norah walk back into that studio. She won’t stand for it,” it further claimed.
Adding to the claims, the source told the outlet, “Gayle and Norah have years of history.”
Noting, “Putting them back behind the same desk would be like throwing a match into a gasoline can.”
“The best thing that ever happened to Gayle was Norah leaving,” they added.
They went on to say that Gayle could force CBS News chief Bari Weiss to pick side, “Gayle is going to make Bari choose between them.”
It is pertinent to mention that neither Gayle nor Norah has confirmed the rumored feud.
