Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanashyam Bhandari today (16 September) met Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Tamim Iqbal at his office as part of efforts to promote greater sports cooperation between Bangladesh and Nepal.
During the meeting, BCB shared details of the upcoming three-match T20 International series between the two nations, to be held in Kathmandu on 26 March, 28 and 30 next year.
The series will be dedicated to the memory of those who have lost their lives in the recent devastating flash floods in Nepal, reflecting the enduring spirit of friendship and solidarity between the two countries.
The embassy extended its sincere thanks to the Ministries of Youth and Sports of both countries, Cricket Association of Nepal and the BCB for their pivotal role in advancing this partnership.
Both sides are committed to deepening ties through men’s and women’s tours, high performance programmes, and training and technical support, said the Nepalese Embassy in Dhaka.
