Natalie Portman is gushing over “magical” motherhood journey after welcoming her third baby, first with musician Tanguy Destable, at 45.
The Black Swan actress, who is already a mom to two grown up kids, Aleph, 15, and Amalia, nine, told Harper’s Bazaar in a recent interview that having a newborn has given her a fresh perspective on motherhood and her older children.
The Thor: Love and Thunder star said, “It gives me a whole new attention to my big kids too, as I am reminded of how recently they were these little fresh creations and how quickly they’ve blossomed into incredible humans with their own amazing personalities and senses of humor and ideas.”
Recalling one of the scary experiences of her recent pregnancy, Natalie shared she was being followed by a bunch of men.
“When I was pregnant in New York and L.A., I was followed by 20 men every day,” she noted. “There’s so much interest in pregnant women in particular. I’d never been bothered more.”
However, living in Paris has helped her and Tanguy protect their baby’s privacy.
”And here, they know, and I’ve been almost completely left alone.”
The Oscar winner further noted that she feels especially grateful to experience motherhood again, because “it’s probably the last time”
”I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle,” Natalie gushed. “And knowing it’s probably the last time, I cherish every moment.”
It is pertinent to mention that Natalie shares Aleph and Amalia with her ex-husband Benjamin Millepied.
