The Mymensingh Education Board has recorded a 57.39% pass rate in this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.
According to the results published this morning, a total of 60,274 students passed this year’s SSC examinations. Of them, 28,372 were boys and 31,902 were girls.
Mymensingh Education Board Secretary Professor Md Enamul Haque confirmed the information at a press briefing at 10am today.
The result statistics showed that girls outperformed boys in both the pass rate and the number of GPA-5 results under the board.
He said 105,028 students appeared for this year’s SSC examinations, of whom 60,274 passed. A total of 5,700 students secured GPA-5, including 2,621 boys and 3,079 girls.
A total of 75,855 students from 1,344 educational institutions under the Mymensingh Education Board took part in the examinations at 188 centres this year.
Deputy Controller of Examinations Md Sirajul Islam, Controller of Examinations Professor Md Shahadat Molla and other board officials were present at the briefing.
