Industries Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir has invited Nepalese entrepreneurs to invest in Bangladesh, citing the country’s rapid industrialization and favourable investment climate.
He made the call when Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh, Ghanshyam Bhandari called on him at the ministry’s office in Dhaka today (22 April), said a press release.
During the discussion, Muktadir emphasised that Bangladesh is achieving significant economic growth through a fast-paced industrialization process.
He assured the envoy that the government has established a safe and convenient environment specifically tailored for foreign investors.
The minister highlighted the potential for joint ventures, noting that such collaborations in the industrial sector would not only generate employment but also significantly strengthen the economies of both nations.
Ambassador Bhandari expressed his admiration for Bangladesh’s industrial and economic progress.
He confirmed Nepal’s strong interest in investing in Bangladesh’s industrial sector, for which the minister pledged all necessary cooperation.
Beyond direct investment, the two officials exchanged views on enhancing regional cooperation and connectivity to drive mutual economic development.
