A three-day international trade exhibition titled “Made in Bangladesh Expo 2026” will be held in London from 4 to 6 September, aiming to showcase Bangladesh’s products, services and investment potential to global buyers and investors.
The expo, to be held at Redbridge Town Hall, UK, is being jointly organised by the Global Trade Promotion Council of Bangladesh and Made in Bangladesh Expo Limited, organisers said at a press conference in Dhaka today (24 June).
According to the organisers, the event will highlight Bangladesh’s strengths in sectors such as ready-made garments, information technology, pharmaceuticals, leather and jute products, agro-processed goods and renewable energy.
More than 50 Bangladeshi exhibitors are expected to participate in the exhibition, while over 3,000 international buyers, investors and business representatives are likely to attend. Representatives from various chambers of commerce, industry leaders and expatriate Bangladeshi businesspeople will also take part.
Speaking at the event, Liton Ahmed, founder and director of Made in Bangladesh Expo, said the event is expected to contribute to export growth, attract foreign investment and create opportunities for Bangladeshi businesses in international markets.
He said the expo would also play a role in strengthening trade and economic relations between Bangladesh and the United Kingdom.
Made in Bangladesh Expo directors Ontu Karim and Moinul Hossain, Chief Coordinator Niazul Islam Rony, and Coordinators Farzana Islam Mouri and Tribeni Alice were also present.
