Liam and Noel Gallagher appeared more united than ever as they brought Oasis to the Venice Film Festival but just moments later Liam was seen losing his cool on the red carpet.
The famously feuding brothers arrived in Italy on Saturday for the world premiere of their new documentary Oasis Don’t Look Back in Anger, which charts their blockbuster reunion and the repair of their once famously damaged relationship.
And while Liam and Noel appeared at peace as they posed together, the youngest Gallagher soon showed his famously fiery side when photographers began shouting for his attention.
“Why all the shouting? Is this what you do at the Venice Film Festival? Scream at people?” Liam snapped at the red carpet.
The rocker had been in considerably better spirits moments earlier when asked what he made of the Italian city, declaring, “Biblical man, biblical.”
While his brother, Noel offered a rather more continental response as he simply said, “Bellissimo.”
The pair were in Venice for the premiere of Oasis Don’t Look Back in Anger, which goes behind the scenes of the band’s huge Live ’25 reunion tour and includes the brothers’ first joint interviews in more than two decades.
But in a very Oasis move, Liam and Noel skipped the film’s press conference after posing for photographers, leaving directors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace and creator Steven Knight to discuss the emotional project.
The documentary is said to reveal that the brothers’ reunion was not entirely plain sailing at first.
Director Southern said the cameras captured the gradual thawing of their relationship, with Liam initially arriving for rehearsals without acknowledging those around him before leaving without saying goodbye.
The film also reveals that Liam and Noel Gallagher’s children had never even met before the reunion, but quickly became friends while Noel eventually describes his younger brother as “delightful.”
