Legal process is there in place: Trivedi on Hasina extradition

Giving a brief background on the circumstances under which India received ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina, Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi today (3 October) said the legal process is there in place.

“And the legal system is on,” he said while responding to a question on the extradition of Hasina, while speaking at a panel discussion on “Power and Prudence: Managing Great Power Competition without Conflict” at a city hotel.

The high commissioner said there are issues and there is a solution to each and every issue.

“Issues need to be addressed through dialogue and conferences. There has to be a solution, and there will be a solution,” said Trevidi.
