Kanye West put Kim Kardasbian through danger during her marriage with the rapper, it is revealed.
The 49-year-old rapper, who is diagnosed with bipolar disorder, was held at gunpoint in Uganda with family.
In Citizen Kim, author Jonathan Van Meter reveals that during a 2018 trip to Uganda, executive producer Farnaz Farjam, “first realized how bad things were for the couple.”
“They were shooting at a remote location in Uganda when Kanye became paranoid and agitated. ‘He basically got the local police to believe that there were people trying to drug him and so they came and they had guns out. He had them raid everybody’s rooms,’ ” Farnaz recalled to the author.
This comes as Kim told the author that she will always have her thoughts with Kanye.
“I worry about him all day. That’s the father of my kids. I’ll never not worry about him,” Kardashian told the author of the rapper. “And that’s a big burden of having kids with someone who you don’t necessarily get along with. My kids would never know that.”
“I do everything in my power to forget about all the negative things that happened. I have to be realistic, and my therapist definitely tells me, ‘Your boundaries have to go up,’ but we manage to co-parent without too much conflict.”
Kim then added that parenting is challenging with Kanye, noting that . “I’m always like, ‘Oh, Dad’s traveling.’ I still make up stories and protect [the kids] because I want them to think their dad is the greatest. But I invite him over all the time. ‘Do you want to come to dinner? I’ll leave the house. Come and have dinner with the kids in their house so that they can feel comfy. Sleep over for a few nights?’ ”
