John Goodman got candid about Bruce Willis.
It is worth noting here that The American TV series, Moonlight starred Bruce Willis as David Addison Jr, while John appeared as a guest actor. Moreover the series aired from 1985 to 1989.
In a recent interview with People Magazine, John reflected on his friendship with Bruce while recalling a memorable moment, saying, “I remember when he got the Moonlighting job, and we were at the bar where he used to work at, and we all hung out at, and he jumped over a railing. I think he broke my shoulder, but he was so happy.”
He went on to say, “That’s all we did was talk about acting when we were at work, when we were out goofing around. I could tell how serious he was. I started working out here [in LA] about a year or two later after he did.”
“He took care of me…I love him so much,” the Oscar nominated actor further shared.
However, the two celebrity pals first crossed paths in New York City when they both were young actors and have been friends for almost 47 years.
Previously, speaking with The Guardian, “Bruce Willis was a bartender at a place I used to go,” the Hollywood star revealed.
