Jessie J has shared a joyful health update with fans, revealing she’s now cancer-free.
The English singer and songwriter shared the news in a video on Instagram, after having an MRI and an annual checkup.
“I’m actually s**ting myself, I’m not gonna lie,” she said in the clip.
“Results are in, and I am cancer-free! I sobbed for hours and then exhaled for the first time in a year,” she captioned the sentimental post.
Jessie J revealed in June last year that she had been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in late March 2025, shortly before the release of her single No Secrets.
The Voice UK coach subsequently underwent a mastectomy and told her followers in a video, “I was diagnosed with early breast cancer. Cancer sucks in any form, but I’m holding on to the word ‘early.'”
“It’s a very dramatic way to get a boob job,” she joked, adding, “I am going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I will come back with massive t**s and more music.”
Jessie J rose to fame as a songwriter, penning hits such as Party in the USA for Miley Cyrus and also launched her own successful solo career with her debut studio album Who You Are in 2011.
She is the first British female artist to have six top-10 hits from a single album.
