Jack Alcott recently got candid and recalled the one key piece of advice from his Dexter: Resurrection co-star, Michael C. Hall, that helped him land various opportunities.
At the Dexter: Resurrection season 2 premiere in New York City on October 8, Alcott chatted with PEOPLE magazine, where he opened up about approaching Hall for career advice when he was stuck between two choices.
He said, “He immediately was like, ‘If you got two choices and you feel stuck, [there’s] two different directions you could go. The answer is both. Play both. You don’t have to simplify everything that much.’ And so that is just, I feel like as an actor, that’s opened a ton of doors for me in general.”
For those unaware, the 30-year-old American actor played the role of Harris Morgan, and Hall breathed life into Dexter Morgan in the American crime drama mystery television series developed by Clyde Phillips.
Hall initially played the titular character in the original series, which ran for eight seasons from October 1, 2006, to September 22, 2013.
It is pertinent to mention that Dexter: Resurrection season 2 is set to premiere on October 30, 2026, on Paramount+. Watch the trailer here.
