IGA Istanbul Airport CEO Selahattin Bilgen yesterday (21 September) paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at Istanbul Airport during his transit en route to New York to attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, they discussed investment opportunities in various sectors, including the modernisation of Bangladesh’s airports, said the PM’s Assistant Press Secretary KM Nazmul Haque.

The prime minister made a stopover of a few hours at the airport while travelling to the United States.
He later departed Istanbul Airport for New York at 2:10am Turkey time.
