The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate has warned against the circulation of misleading and malicious information targeting the Bangladesh Army and the Chief of Army Staff on online platforms and social media.
In a statement issued today (10 October), the military’s public relations wing said baseless information had recently been circulated about the army and its chief, apparently with the intention of creating public confusion and damaging the institution’s image.
ISPR urged the public not to be influenced by such propaganda.
“Built on a robust chain of command, mutual trust, unity, discipline and professionalism, the Bangladesh Army remains united and steadfast in fulfilling its responsibilities towards the nation and its people,” the statement said.
It also called on everyone to rely on official and credible sources for information concerning the Bangladesh Army and the Chief of Army Staff.
