Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, and Science and Technology Faqir Mahbub Anam today visited the July war-injured who are receiving treatment at Vejthani International Hospital.
During the visit, the minister met the injured, inquired about their physical condition, and conveyed his best wishes for their speedy recovery.
He also spoke to the attending physicians to learn about the ongoing treatment and overall medical care being provided to the patients.
The physicians briefed the minister on the patients’ health condition, progress of treatment and the support required for their recovery.
Faqir Mahbub Anam assured the injured and the hospital authorities that all necessary support would be provided on behalf of the prime minister.
He said the government remains committed to ensuring proper treatment and rehabilitation support for those injured during the July war.
The minister also provided financial assistance of 100,000 Thai baht from his personal fund to support the treatment of the injured.
Hospital officials, members of the treatment team and others concerned were present during the visit.
