State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir has sought stronger ties with Brazil through South-South cooperation during talks with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Luiz Iecker Vieira in New York.
The duo met yesterday (25 September) afternoon on the sidelines of United Nations meetings, according to a foreign ministry press release issued today (26 September).
They expressed satisfaction with the growing momentum in Bangladesh-Brazil relations and discussed expanding cooperation in trade, investment and other areas of economic engagement.
The ministers also stressed the importance of regular high-level visits and stronger links between the two countries’ people and institutions, the releases added.
